Within the yellow banner is a red rectangle with rounded corners includes two rows of Japanese characters in white, the bottom row being smaller in height than the top row. Above the red rectangle with rounded corners, in the yellow banner, are Japanese characters in black.

The two non-Latin characters before "MARUKYO" transliterate into "Marukyo", which is part of Applicant's name. The non-Latin characters in the red circles of the mark transliterate into "funwariyaki", which means "softly sponge cake" in English. The non-Latin characters in the yellow rectangle transliterate into "funwari" and "yawaraka", which means "soft" and "soft" in English.
