The drawing of the mark is a depiction of four elements of labelling which are affixed to bottles of applicant's product. The three figures on the left are, from top to bottom, the neck, crown and main front label and the square on the right is the back label. The backgrounds of each are colored a dark green and the printing, designs and border linings are primarily gold with some in black. The two horizontal bands on the neck label are gold with the wording in black. Color is claimed as a feature of the mark. The designs on the labels are heraldic and show representations of coats of arms containing crowns, drapes and in the center, a castle.
The words "PRODUCIDO Y EMBOTELLADO EN RIOJA ALTA" are Spanish for "produced and bottled in the Rioja region". "MARQUES DE CACERES" could be translated as "mark of Caceres" and "CENICERO" is the name of a town in Spain. "DENOMINACION DE ORIGEN" could be translated as "appellation" and "EMBOTELLADO POR" as "produced by".
