The mark consists of an image of the head and shoulders of a Buffalo, or American Bison, rendered in black, white and grey, with its nose turned to the viewer's right, and in which the head and shoulders of the Buffalo are composed of rocks. Beneath the image of the Buffalo are the words "Tectonic Rock" rendered in black font. The image of the Buffalo is on a white background and is surrounded by four concentric rings. Moving in an outward direction from the image of the Buffalo, the innermost ring closest to the image of the Buffalo is narrow and is red in color. The second innermost ring is wider than the other rings, is blue in color, and contains the word "BUFFALO" above the image of the Buffalo and the words "ROCK PILE" below the image of the Buffalo, both rendered in white font on the blue ring. The third innermost ring is narrow and is white in color. Finally, the fourth and outermost ring is narrow and is red in color.
The color(s) red, white, blue, black and grey is/are claimed as a feature of the mark.
