The mark consists of a three-dimensional configuration of a ductile iron utility pole, the three-dimensional configuration including at least three pole sections with each pole section consisting of a round cross-section and a tapered exterior extending along the entire length thereof and three-dimensional elements repeated on the surface thereof which together form an asymmetrical pattern on the surface of the section. The joint sections are joined together telescopically with each of the two joints forming a stepped overlap between respective joined pole sections.
