The mark consists of the words "Colorado Christian" in all-capitals serif font. Below these words is a line running horizontally. Beneath this horizontal line is the word "University" in all-capitals serif font. Centered above the words "Colorado Christian" is the outline of a shield. Within this shield is a cross, the vertical line of which is centered within the shield and the horizontal line of which is slightly above the center of the shield. Along the right side of the center line of the cross is a thinner parallel line, and on the underside of the horizontal line of the cross is a similarly thin parallel line. Covering the intersection of the lines of the cross is an open book. Each of the two open pages of the book displays three lines representing indecipherable text.
