The mark consists of concentric circles with black borders, with the outer ring including the words Federation of Chung Do Kwan within the top half of the ring, matching leaved branches on the lower left and right quadrants of the outer ring, and traditional Chinese lettering within the bottom of the outer ring which translates to Tae Kwon Do The inner circle has a closed, outward facing fist showing four fingers and a thumb; the fist is holding a scroll, on the left side of the scroll there is traditional Korean lettering which translates to "blue" and on the right side of the scroll there is traditional Korean lettering which translates to "wave". The fist is centered against a yin yang symbol which fills the entire background of the inner circle.
