44 my procedure utilizes already manufactured polypropylene synthetic mesh(es) for female incontinence; the one that I use is from Boston Scientific called "Solyx". It is a simple sling procedure and there are 1-2 other companies with similar sling devices; what I am asking for a trademark is that other doctors perform these slings for female incontinence under general anesthesia. I, however, place these slings under local and sometimes moderate sedation (no general anesthesia) using a single incision (like the solyx was designed for) which takes me 5-9 minutes on average as a quick, outpatient procedure with minimal risk. It has low risk by avoiding additional incisions and minimal risk with only moderate sedation at most. Hence, Minimally Invasive Single Incision Sling
