45 We are a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration approved blanket agency offering the blanket of coverage filing service. The purpose of the blanket of coverage form is to confirm to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration that the motor carrier, freight forwarder, and freight broker has a designated process agent in each state they operate in. They must file a blanket of coverage form to obtain their operating authority and thus legally run their business. Blanket agencies like Royalty Speed have a designated process agent in all fifty states, including Washington, D.C. We file the blanket of coverage form on our customer's behalf and also takes on the responsibility of receiving and delivering legal notices (service of process) related to their business that uses the interstate. The blanket of coverage form organizes courses of legal action against businesses that use the interstate and ensures efficiency of the system, our task is to enable the customer to obtain their operating authority with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and notify them of any legal action taken against them
