The top of the shield is tilted backwards, the bottom is tilted forwards, and the right side is rotated slightly away from the viewer. A line runs from the top to the bottom of the shield, dividing the shield into two parts. The left edge of the shield is broken by two triangular indentations, with slightly curved lines to suggest a three-dimensional shape of the shield, with the high point of the shield being the center line and the low point being the left outer edge of the shield.
