The mark was first used in commerce in a different form other than that sought to be registered at least as early as 05/16/1997
The mark consists of a label placed on the front of a bottle and a label placed on the back of the a bottle. The design on the front label consist of the stylized white word FIJI outlined in gold and a stylized rendering of a pink hibiscus flower with a red and yellow pistil. The design on the back label consists of a dark blue gradient with the darkest blue of the gradient beginning on the bottom left corner of the back label, gradually changing upwards into a lighter blue towards the upper right corner of the back label, which faces the interior of the bottle. When the two designs are viewed together from the front, they form a complete scene. The blue bottle cap and bottle configuration are shown in dotted lines and are not claimed as part of the mark.
