The mark consists of a circle reminiscent of the earth's globe, consisting of both dark green and light blue colors within and outlined in black. The blue color denotes bodies of water, while the green color represents land masses. That globe is surrounded by eighteen smaller circles, all of which are in the same shade of green. To the right of the symbol are the words "Certified Sustainability Advocate", in black font. Each word begins with an uppercase alphabet. The words "Certified" and "Sustainability" are on one line, while "Advocate" is centered beneath those words.

The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the performer meets certain sustainability standards. Those authorized to use the mark shall have completed a sutainability advocacy certification program and made a commitment to improve their sustainability practices to mitigate the effects of climate change. The process of certification shall include: (i) an evaluation of the sustainability rating of each customer (ii) the participation in a specialized education program which addresses current sustainability measures being employed in relation to the users carbon footprint, setting sustainability goals and, creating pathways to achieve those goals. A customer who successfully completes the program will be given a certificate of completion and earn a distinction as a "Certified Sustainability Advocate" and shall be granted the permission to display the certification mark within their business. The prospective customer for these services are business organizations and shall represent that the business/businesses employ sustainability practices. The channels of trade will include but are not limited web-based and in-person avenues. The mark is intended for use on stationery such as certificates, marketing and training materials. Further, businesses which undergo and complete the certification shall be granted the right to use the mark in the course of their business' operations. The applicant shall create and facilitate the sustainability advocacy education and training program which prospective users of the mark shall have to undergo, to become certified and eligible to utilize said mark
