LUA HALAU O KAIHEWALU is at the top in a rounded downward arc, and the wording ANCIENT HAWAIIAN LUA is written in black in Times New Roman text at the bottom in a rounded upward arc. In between and in the center of this text section is the Hawaiian Royal Court crest. The crest consists of a shield. The shield is divided into four segments. The top left and bottom right segments are white, orange and blue striped, and the bottom left and top right segments have a yellow background with a brown stick with an orange flower-shaped figure in the center. In the middle of the shield is a smaller green shield with two black and white figures in the shape of an "x" in the middle of the shield.
