The mark consists of two concentric circles with the nucleus of the circle colored in blue and the out circle outlined in black. The space between the concentric circles appears in white. Inside the upper portion of the outermost circle the words "LAKE TAHOE" are written in green, all capitalized letters. The right and left portions of the inner-most circle are flanked with images of a sprig of greenery resembling leaves colored in purple. Below the springs and inside of the bottom portion of the most-outer circle are the words "PREPARATORY SCHOOL" written in all green capitalized letters. Situated within the inner most portion of the circles (the nucleus) is the carved out image of a crest with an upside down triangle represented in a lavender color and the remaining area of the crest appears in a light green color. Inside of the crest are images of three trees in a row with the center tree depicted in a dark green color while the two flanking trees appear in a light green color. At the bottom most portion of the crest is an image of a brown bear. The remaining color white in the mark represents background, outlining, shading, and/or transparent areas and is not part of the mark.
The colors black, white, light green, green, dark green, blue, brown, lavender and purple are claimed as a feature of the mark.
