The mark consists of The mark consists of a black background, approximately square, depicting a drawn, realistic Tyrannosaurus Rex skull, mouth agape, facing right. Overlaying the skull are various graffiti elements "defacing" the animal. The words which appear are multicolored and in "gang-graffiti" style, with some words illegible and noticeable words including the lettering "BLK WKS" in orange near the upper jawline of the skull, as well as "esteli" near the mandibular joint, "NBK" on the lower jaw of the skull as well as an illegible "20xx" year number in maroon directly after the graffiti "NBK". To the right, visually within the "bite" of the animal (between the jaws/rows of teeth but not touching them) are large, yellow, stencil-font showing wear/weathering letters "NBK", below and very small is the phrase "black works studio" in the same yellow stencil font. Underneath the entire graphic and slightly offset to the left appear in label-maker font the white words "LIZARD" and "KING" which are stylized in a manner in which the word "KING" is horizontally aligned straight, but the word "LIZARD" appears slightly above the word "KING", and "LIZARD" is rotated slightly counterclockwise, approximately 15 degrees.
