The mark consists of a three dimensional configuration of an electronic cable connector housing having a substantially cylindrical body portion and a wire protector portion. The body portion includes two pairs of angularly spaced apart gumdrop-shaped divots. A first diametrically opposite pair of the divots has their blunted, base end oriented toward the back end of the plug from which a wire extends. A second diametrically opposite pair of divots, angularly spaced 90 degrees from the first pair, has their bunted base ends oriented toward the front end of the plug. Each divot has a substantially linear cross-sectional surface when the cross-sectional plane is taken diametrically through the housing perpendicular to the cylindrical axis of the housing. The wire protector portion includes substantially cylindrical sleeve having a number of spaced apart triangular and diamond shaped indentations creating the appearance of mesh rotating 45 degrees from the central axis of the sleeve. Broken lines are used to show positioning of the mark and are not claimed as part of the mark. The broken lines depict the wire and plug parts of an exemplary electronic cable connector.
