The hallmark features Korean Hangul characters above the letters "(PGI)" in green on a white polygon with a single wave-like design on its lower side. A green square surrounds the white polygon and features additional Korean Hangul characters in white below the polygon.
The colors white and green are features of the hallmark.
The non-Latin characters in the hallmark transliterate to "jilijeogpyosi" and "haeyangsusanbu" and this means "Geographical Indication" and "Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries" in English.
