The mark consist of the head of a man followed by the wording "MEKONNEN EPIC" in stylized capital letters. The drawing of the head represents a young Ethiopian man with a large Afro-hairstyle. The facial features of the drawing have a triangular-shaped face with a rather broad forehead and normals down to a pointy chin. He has large eyes under furrowed eyebrows that give him a serious expression on his face. His nose is shaped like an arrow pointing downwards and his lips are about the same width as his nose. There is a slight mustache between his nose and lips, and small stubble of beard on his chin. The first letter "M" in "MEKONNEN" and the letter "E" in "EPIC" are larger than the rest of the letters in the words.
