The mark consists of a curved brushstroke, commencing in a slight blob at the top and a short arc to the left then curving to the right, gradually widening, then curving back to the left at its widest point, then narrowing as it moves down and to the left, vanishing completely for a slight space, then resuming with a wider brushstroke arcing back to the right and continuing downward and to the right as it gradually tapers to a double-line "streak" and fades out at its lower right end.
