The gold embossing consists of two concentric circles, and in between the concentric circles are the gold embossed words "CHESTER COUNTY" centered at the top of the seal, "SOUTH CAROLINA" centered at the bottom of the seal, and two gold embossed trees centered to the right and left of the seal. There are also gold embossed images and words inside the smaller circle of the seal. Inside the smaller circle, centered at the top, is a gold embossed image of the Chester County Courthouse, having two gold embossed trees to the right and left of the court house, which are tangential to the circumference of the smaller circle. The gold embossed image of the Chester County Court house has the black debossed words "CHESTER COUNTY COURT HOUSE" written above the pillars of the entrance and just below the roof. Directly below the court house are the gold embossed words "COUNTY COURT HOUSE", and just below those words are the dates "1825 - 1855". Also, inside the smaller circle, below the gold embossed image of the Chester County Courthouse, there are two gold embossed ovals, which are tangential to the circumference of the smaller circle. One of the ovals is located on the left side of the smaller circle, and the other oval is located on the right side of the smaller circle. Inside the oval on the left side is a gold embossed image of the Fishing Creek Dam, with the gold embossed words "FISHING CREEK DAM" below the image of the dam, and the year "1924" is gold embossed and centered directly below the words "FISHING CREEK DAM". Inside the oval on the right side is a gold embossed image of the Landsford Canal, with the gold embossed words "LANDSFORD CANAL" below the image of the canal, and the year "1823" gold embossed and centered directly below the words "LANDSFORD CANAL".
