10 Pre-primed intravenous tubing is a medical tubing used for intravenous infusion in therapy, most often in the clinical setting. Presently, the intravenous tubing comes in sterile packaging and is empty of any fluid. Prior to intravenous infusion, the intravenous tubing must be filled with fluid. This process is known as priming. During priming, the medical professional inserts the tip of the intravenous tubing into a bag of intravenous fluid, allowing it to flow through the entire length of the tube. The purpose of priming the tubing is to remove all air prior to initiating intravenous therapy. The proposed product however, will have the intravenous tubing and normal saline already combined, making it pre-primed, sterilely packaged, and ready for immediate use
