The mark consists of an outlined shield with an outer blue border, a middle red border, and a white inner border with the bottom half of a black star at the top of the shield, beneath which are three rows of grey stars, with eight stars on the top row, seven stars on the second row, and six stars on the third row with the word CHICAGO in blue and outlined in black superimposed over the second and third rows of stars, below which is a blue rectangular shape with the word MAGIC in white lettering outlined in red, beneath the letters "IC" in MAGIC are the words SOCCER CLUB in light blue, on the right lower side of the shield is a black and blue outline of Chicago and the lake, below which are the words EST. 1989 in blue, on the left lower side of the shield following the outline shape of the shield are five vertical stripes alternating blue and red, at the middle of the bottom of the shield is the top half of a black star, on the top point of which sits a black and white soccer ball.
