The mark consists of a label design that includes a white vertical oval design having a small gold circle superimposed over the top of the white oval and three overlapping circles superimposed over the bottom of the white oval. The word "DESDE" and "SINCE" are in gold, and "1872" is in red. Seven thin, short, gold lines of varying length extend to the right and left of "1872". Between the circular designs at the bottom of the white oval and the rectangle in the middle is the gold wording "MEDALHAS DE OURO MONDE SELECTION BRUXELLES" above the gold wording "GOLD MEDALS MONDE DELECTION BRUXELLES". There is a gold background to the oval and rectangle design extending slightly beyond the rectangle to the left and right sides towards the flaps of the label which are black.
