The mark consists of an approximately 1.5 inch diameter, white, three-dimensional configuration of a knob, having a series of narrow half circle shaped indentations along the cylindrical section of the knob between the front face and the skirt, alternating and interspersed with wider and flatter indentations located there between, with printed numbers on the skirt of the knob, showing a scale from "1" to "10" with 0.1 scale marks, with a black circular ring embedded near the outer edge of the front face of the knob. The circular skirt, the overall cylindrical shape of the knob, and the flat face of the knob are not part of the mark as these are functional components of standard knobs.
