The caricature is centered in a tight green ring with the caricature outlined in thick black inking. The word "Puffology" appears at the top of the caricature across the afro. The word "Puffology" is broken into three parts. The first part of the word, "Puff" appears to the left of the page, the right side of the caricature's head. The letters are blocky and the U forms a smoking pipe that extends into the top of both f's in the word. The middle "O" is an ellipsoidal smoke ring that is also the center of the symbol for science. In the center of the symbol is a cannabis bud. The last part of the word "Logy" is on the right side of the image, the left side of the caricature's face. Directly under the caricature's chin is the motto, "C=MC2" within the circle. Directly below the circle, in all capital letters, are the words "High Minded" curling upward in a semi-circle. Below the "High Minded" continues the slogan written in all capital letters, "COMPASSION = MORE COMPASSION".
