The mark consists of The mark consists of a five point star with the great seal of the State of Arizona in the middle of the star, a banner over the top of the great seal covering the top point of the star that reads Marshal, a banner under the great seal covering the bottom two points of the star which reads to the left "Est", three stars in the middle and to the right reads 1879. The five points of the star encircled with a ring of gold, the top that states "Tombstone Marshal" inside the ring and the bottom that states "Arizona" inside the ring with silver leaves on each side. The patch has the same badge with a red banner above the badge with the word "Tombstone" written in the middle of the red banner in gold letters. The red banner is on a blue backdrop. Above the red banner is the word "Marshal" written in gold letters within the blue backdrop. The bottom of the patch contains the word "Office" written in red within the blue backdrop. The challenge coin has the badge described above on the front and on the back, the are four cowboy images in a black silhouette. Below the four cowboys are the words "keeping peace since 1879."
