The mark consists of a stylized hamsa hand design with five raised fingers, arabesque lines, and a stylized flowerlike evil eye in the palm which contains a sun representing the iris of the eye. Hamsa designs are popular amulets for protection from the evil eye and are also known by the following names: hamesh, khamsa, humes, hand of Fatima, hand of Phatima, and hand of Miriam.
