The mark consists of A seal comprised of a black solid center circle surrounding by a white concentric outer ring. Arched across the bottom of the white concentric outer ring in all black, capital letters is the word "POLICE". Overlaid across the inner black circle and the outer white concentric ring is a map of the Commonwealth of Kentucky in black. Across the map of the Commonwealth of Kentucky in all white, capital letters is the word "STATE". On the attached image there is a black square surrounding the outer white concentric ring. This black square is NOT part of the mark but is simply included in order to highlight the features of the mark itself.
