The mark consists of the outer edge of the seal has a rope design, PMS 1675, bottom of seal has a ribbon decor with a folded image at either end with a notch v cut on edge of ribbon, PMS 320. Within the ribbon reading, left to right "CAPE MAY COUNTY (bullet dot) NEW JERSEY", white. The second border's top half starting from the left to right has wording "CITY OF SEA ISLE CITY", lower left side of the second border has writing "EST. 1882", the lower right side of the second border has writing "INC. 1907" all letters white, border PMS 320. Third border is a solid plain circular border, PMS 320, bordered by PMS 1675. The body of the seal, white, has arched writing starting from top "INTEGRITY" right side "TOLERANCE", bottom "EXCELLENCE", left side "RESPECT", all letters in body PMS 1675. Center of seal is a compass star design with 8 star points, 4 of the star points being longer in length, they are left to right & top to bottom, the other 4 star points being shorter in length, PMS 1675 are between each longer star points, between each of the 8 star points is a single line of equal length, PMS 1675. All star points white and PMS 320, center of compass star and lines are 2 circular borders one within the other, one PMS 320 and one PMS 1675.
