The mark consists of a two-sided circular medallion, the front bearing an image of a man's face next to horizontal lines and the words "Raoul Wallenberg" and surrounding the image a ring with the words in all capitals "The International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation" on the top and the words "New York", "Jerusalem", "Buenos Aires", and "Berlin" in all capitals on the bottom, surrounded by a further ring of repeating design and a further plain outer ring, and the back in the center a dark background and the words "awarded to" in all capitals and below it, flanked by small calligraphy design, the words "Sir Nicholas Winton" and below that the words "In his 104th birthday" and below that along the bottom the year 2013 with short dashes on either side and below that in all capitals "Year of the Holocaust Rescuers", surrounded by a ring with the words in all capitals "The Raoul Wallenberg Centennial Medal" on the top half of the ring and repeating thin lines on the bottom half, surrounded by a further ring of repeating design and a further plain outer ring, the latter two rings matching those on the front of the medal.
