The mark consists of a stylized heart shaped flag in red and ivory horizontal stripes with some shades of tan interspersed with the ivory. There is a blue area on the top left corner of the heart. The blue area contains a circle of thirteen white stars in top left hand corner. Within the circle of stars lies a set of light blue military dog tags. At the bottom of heart shaped flag are the letters "VCN", with "V" in red, "C" in white, "N" in blue, and each letter is outlined in red. The edges of the heart fade into the tan of the rectangular background. The rectangular background contains shades of tan and brown, with lines of faded wording of the Constitution in brown. On the line beneath "V C N", the words "Veteran Care Network" appear in the color white.
