In the bottom part of the ornamental framework is a chest with four legs, two drawers, and two drawer handles. In the right bottom of the ornamental framework is a grandfather clock. In the left bottom of the ornamental framework is a sitting chair with two legs and two arms. Below the ornamental framework are the words "Beautifies and Protects Wood" and "with Lemon Oil and Bees Wax." Beneath those words is a full lemon, to the right of which is a lemon cut in half, to the right of which is a bee, to the right of which is a honeycomb made of seven hexagons. Above the ornamental framework is the word "GODDARD'S" which is both underlined and overlined. Underneath the word "GODDARD'S" are the words "Cleaners and Polishes." Above the word "GODDARD'S" and cutting into the overline is the design of a shield split into four quadrants. The top right quadrant contains two crossed keys; the bottom right quadrant contains logs on fire; the bottom left quadrant contains cornucopia of fruit; the top left quadrant contains two vertically stacked lions. In front of the shield is a banner which contains the wording "SINCE 1839". To each side of the shield are flowers and vines. Above the shield is the design of the top of a castle which the ends of a banner to either side of the castle. Above the shield is the wording "EST. 1839" to the right of which is a dot, to the right of which is the word "LEICESTER", to the right of which is a dot, to the right of which is the word "ENGLAND". The words "EST. 1839", "LEICESTER", and "ENGLAND" are all positioned in a curved arc.
