The mark consists of a crest with a ribbon above it containing capital Greek letters kappa iota tau, alpha lambda phi alpha, epsilon iota gamma mu alpha, kappa tau alpha; beneath the ribbon, an image of an owl; beneath the owl, the top and sides of a crest is surrounded by drapes; the crest is divided into four segments, the upper segment bearing a triangle with circles around the perimeter of the triangle and a smaller triangle within bearing the capital Greek letters alpha sigma, the lower segment bearing a shield, the left segment bearing an image of hands clasped together, and the right side segment bearing an image of a crescent moon; two bars divide the segments - one bearing the capital Greek letters alpha upsilon rho epsilon omicron lambda iota alpha, sigma omicron sigma iota epsilon tau psi, and the other a lamp in the center with six circles on each side thereof; beneath the crest, a ribbon bearing the words "EST. 1898".
