The mark consists of a conventional bomb and a torpedo crossed to form an X with the conventional bomb running left to right and the torpedo running right to left. The conventional bomb is grayish-brown in color, outlined in black, with black dots forming a line around the circumference of the lower half of the bomb. Within the upper left end of the bomb is an opening for the black propellers which is outlined in black and through which the yellow background is visible. The torpedo is outlined in dark gray and brown in color with a beige tip at the lower left end. A rocket in a vertical position, crosses through the middle of the X formed by the conventional bomb and torpedo. The rocket is dark gray in color, outlined in black, has a white stripe near the top to delineate the upper tip of the rocket, near the center of the lower portion of the rocket is a white vertical line, and at the bottom of the rocket is a red flare. Superimposed over the bomb, torpedo, and rocket is a gray chemical horn mine which is outlined in black. A scuba diver, swimming from right to left across the ordnance, is in a black wet suit, wearing a watch outlined in white, and black outlined scuba equipment the tank of which is grayish-brown with two orange stripes and attached to the diver with brown straps, the mask is gray with white swirls with yellow outlining to the left and attached to the diver's head with yellow bands, and the hose of which is alternating black and yellow stripes. Yellow lines define the skin between the wet suit and black flippers of the diver. The entirety of the scuba diver and ordnance is set against an explosive blast representation in a starburst shape that is yellow in color, with outer edges being outlined in separate lines of brown, gold, red, black and gray. Rising above the blast is parachute which is outlined in brown with the canopy being tan and the lines extending downward from the top being brown. The parachute is set between a pair of stylized tan and white wings outlined in brown. Other than as described, the color white is not part of the mark but represents a transparent background.
