THE NON-LATIN CHARACTERS THAT TRANSLITERATE TO "TONKOTSU-RAMEN" AND "KYUSHU"
The mark consists of three groups of Japanese characters, all in a stylized font. On the left side of the mark there are two small white Japanese characters on a red rectangular background with rough edges; to the right of this four large black Japanese characters; above these black characters are eight smaller black Japanese characters.
The non-Latin characters in the mark transliterate to "Kyushu" and "Hakatanmaru" respectively and this has no meaning in a foreign language. The non-Latin characters in the mark transliterate to "Tonkotsu-ramen" and this means "pork bone broth ramen", or "ramen noodle which uses a soup made out of boiling pork bones" in English.
