The mark consists of The stylized text "HBCU ATHLETES" with a double star. "HBCU" in all capitals sits directly above and right center of the lowercased word "athletes." Left of the word "HBCU" is a penetrating double star. The right edge of the star penetrates the letter "H" of "HCBU." The bottom edge of the star connects to the letters A and T of athletes. The double star consist of an outer star and inner star. We believe this design is unique to HBCUAthletes. The addition of the star signifies the star student-athletes that our business promotes. We are not claiming rights to the acronym HBCU, which stands for Historically Black Colleges and Universities nor the word athletes. .
