Color is not claimed as a feature of the mark.
The mark consists of a cartoon style logo with the words "From Hair Net To Dragnet" at the top, and below the words is a plump old lady sitting in a rocking chair on the porch to her house, to the right of the open front door. She has her hair worn in a bun with a hair net over it. She has little round glasses with glass perched on her little nose. Her lips are open as if speaking. She is wearing a checkered dress covered with a bib apron, with a bib with rickrack trim, with the same trim around the wrist area of the sleeves. She has a little pearl in each ear. In her right hand is a cane with a tip. She is wearing sox and shoes. Behind her is a window with curtains and an inside wall. To her left is a mailbox with the word "mail" written on it, and a little flag. The box is supported with a board attached to the porch. The house and porch have a trim. There are 3 steps leading up to the poch. The front door is open, with the figure of a man, obviously a burglar, 3/4's of the way out; he is wearing shoes, pants, turtleneck, cap, and a mask across his eyes, and his hair is sticking out from under the cap. His mouth is slightly open, appearing to say "oh, no". He has a sack in his right hand, slung over his right shoulder. There is an empty window in the door, which can be seen inside the house, with a wall and floor.
The stippling is for shading purposes only.
