The mark consists of a hand drawn "abstract" of the St. Louis Cathedral in the background and statue of Andrew Jackson in the foreground. The church spire on the right of the abstract connects with the "N" in the word "Nola". The "O" in "Nola" is drawn as an abstract of the Louisiana Superdome. Underneath and offset to the right beginning under the letter "N" is a hand drawn Fleur-de-Lis. The right side of the Fleur-de-Lis acts as the letter "G" in the word "Guide", with the letters "uide" hand written to the right of the Fleur-de-Lis to create the completed wording "Nola Guide".
