A blue cross with its long horizontal bar containing the wording "KOOKSUNDO" in the color white is located with the center of the cross in the innermost of the 4 concentric circles, which is a white circle. The next circle is a red partial circle, with the bottom of the vertical bar of the blue cross filling in part of the opening at the bottom of the red circle. The next circle is the white circle containing the Korean characters. The outermost of the concentric circles is blue. There is a green laurel leaf border that partially encircles the 4 concentric circles.
