41 Re-Inventing Yourself for your Un-Retirement Seminar - This four-session seminar takes participants through a process of rediscovering and developing dreams, talents, possibilities and resources for designing their "un-retirement"; Sessions are limited to 20 enrollees, and are held in a casual and comfortable setting with some presentation of concepts, small group work, personal and professional inventories, individual exercises, and lots of facilitated conversation within the larger group; Participants learn how personal style affects life choices, build on this understanding to generate possibilities for their future, match interests with opportunities, and develop an action plan or "road map" for pursing the life they have envisioned over the seminar's self-discovery journey; The seminar is facilitated by professional consultants, and is offered three times per year; The "Un-Retirement Seminar" serves as the catalyst for other ATLAS (which is the acronym for Ageless, Timeless, Limitless, Active, Self-Discovery) services; Life Mapping/Personal Coaching For those who are best served by personalized services, the Un-Retirement Seminar attendees who wish to take advantage of additional consultation, Personalized Coaching is available and can be retained on an as-needed basis through the ATLAS program; Participants may chose to meet one-on-one with a professional coach or peer mentor, or as a part of a small (3-5 person) group facilitated by a professional coach or peer mentor; Each facilitator will help counsel and guide the participant(s) through the process of self-discovery; Peer Mentoring Academy - Volunteers will be trained by the professional coaches to serve as peer mentors providing leadership and role modeling as well as become engaged in a civic-minded way to help improve the well being of community participants; Participants of the Un-Retirement Workshops are recruited as well as community volunteers for enrollment in the academy; After completing the 16-hour training, they will be a part of an elite volunteer leadership core, enlisted to work with individuals and small groups to consult and support ATLAS participant's efforts toward self-actualization; Un-Retirement Graduate Network - Opportunities are made available on a monthly basis to provide on-going support to seminar graduates; Graduates stay connected, get peer support, learn from others, find out about new resources, and socialize in a comfortable setting either on-site or off-site at a local coffee shop each month; These "conversation cafes" are offered three different times per month (nine months per year), coordinated by volunteers, and facilitated by professionals; Web-based Inter-active Kiosk and Website - The kiosks have streaming DVD video introducing participants to ATLAS programs and resources via testimonials from their peers, directing clients to resources available on the ATLAS Website, and allowing participants to take surveys and personal assessments online; The physical kiosks are self-contained units that allow user-friendly access through a touch screen menu; After viewing the streaming video and audio introduction, participants are asked a few questions to obtain basic marketing data and then prompted to take a simple survey to help direct them to appropriate resources on the ATLAS Website; The Website provides up to date information on the various offerings of ATLAS; In addition, the Website is used to facilitate and host the ATLAS Online Community where participants keep in touch with one another through message boards, online conferencing, and scheduled online discussion forums; Finally, the Website provides online resources for lifelong learning and enrichment, as well as links to volunteer and career opportunities in the community; ATLAS Learning Center - The Learning Center provides both in-person and virtual avenues for learning offered on an on-going basis throughout the year via intensive, focused workshops and lifelong experiential learning; This also includes intensive workshops that are learning opportunities focused on specific un-retirement topics derived through on-going feedback from Un-Retirement Seminars and Kiosk data; Workshops are held in the day or evening, ten months out of the year; Additionally, there are courses that are catered specifically to the interests of Boomers, offered in a 2 session format, 12 months per year; Program Volunteer Engagement - The program engages ATLAS volunteer mentors through the Peer Mentor Academy, and Un-Retirement Graduates Network, and encourages community-based volunteerism through offering workshops and classes on volunteer topics, as well as providing volunteer resource information; ATLAS Training Institute - This two-day intensive on-site training session is designed to train individuals from other community-based organizations that wish to offer ATLAS un-retirement services to their residents; Participants receive professional training, materials, a start-up kit, etc; and learn from staff and program volunteers first-hand; This also includes the proprietary interest of the Un-Retirement Assessment Inventory Tool that would be licensed for other organizations to use in their process
