Council of Better Business Bureaus, Inc. a corporation organized and existing under the laws of Delaware, located and doing business at 4200 Wilson Blvd., Suite 800, Arlington, VA 22203-1838, has a bona fide intention to adopt and exercise legitimate control over the use of the certification mark shown in the accompanying drawing in commerce by persons authorized by Applicant for confirmation of adherence to standards regarding the privacy of individually identifiable information of minors by businesses and others maintaining web sites on the global computer network. Applicant requests that said certification mark be registered in the United States Patent and Trademark Office on the Principal Register established by the Act of July 5, 1946. The certification mark as used by authorized persons will certify that such persons have implemented policies and procedures that meet the certifier's standards for the purpose of maintaining the privacy of individually identifiable information of minors gathered via a global computer network. Applicant is not and will not be engaged in the production or marketing of any services to which the mark will be applied.
