"SALSA, TEXAS" AND THE PICTORIAL REPRESENTATION OF THE STATE OF TEXAS
The mark consists of the state of "Texas" in the Background is in a rusty-red color. There is a black background superimposed on the state of "Texas" that implies roads/interstates/intrastates/highways running through the state of "Texas" (as in a map), and also serves as general background texture as well. The words "SALSA, TEXAS" are created using the font Clarendon and are superimposed over the state of "Texas" in a beige color with a gold rule outlining each letter, and a black shadowing effect on the bottom and right side of each letter as well. The word "SALSA" floats in a semi circular pattern above and on top (approximately one quarter of the way down from top tip of "Texas") of the background image of the state of Texas and above the word "TEXAS". The word "TEXAS" runs across and through the middle of the state of Texas, and is prepared in a manner in which the letters graduate in size, beginning with the letter "T", then "E" , then "X"(the center letter) being the largest letter, then graduating down in size with the letter "A", then lastly, the letter "S". A yellow star has been superimposed over the "X" (in the center of the X), the largest of all letters, of "SALSA, TEXAS" implying a city, place, location or destination within the state of Texas, and the star is created in two shades of yellow with a gray tone shadow below and on the bottom and right side of the star, and over the beige color on the letter "X". The letter "X" has black markings denoting background treatment.
The stippling is for shading purposes only and does not indicate color.
