The mark consists of a rectangular block with a black horse in the center facing to the left and standing on the ground that is shown in black; in the black area of the ground the words "Greener Pastures" is written in white letters; behind the horse is a shadowing of green trees above the black grass and above the green shadowing of trees are sunrays beaming out from the middle of the area; the sunrays are white and yellow down beside the trees and as the rays move upward they change in color to yellow and green as they approach the top of the block. Beneath the color block are the words "American Quarter Horse Association" written in black letters on a clear background.
