Color is not claimed as a feature of the mark.
The mark consists of a rectangular label with an artistic horizontal tear at the bottom of the label, which makes the label split into two pieces. The bottom piece is 1/5 the size of the top piece and contains the name of the wine. The top piece has a profile silhouette of an American antelope head, which fills the upper right quadrant of the label. On the left side of the label there is centered vertical text, which reads "Donato Family Vineyard". In the background there are the letters "AV" in a script font vertically typed, which fills the entire label. This background is positioned in the back, so that both the antelope and the text appear to be in front of the "AV"; thus, covering up a portion of both the "A" and the "V".
The stippling is for shading purposes only.
