"VERMONT" AND "FISH & WILDLIFE"
The mark consists of a shield with a banner across the bottom. The shield and banner are outlined in a bold line. Across the top of the shield is a bar with the word "Vermont" in bold capitalized letters. In the space above the bar are 14 alternating slashes. Below the bar is the stylized image of a leaping horned deer, facing left in a field. Below the deer to the left is a trout outline with a splash of water to its left. Directly below the deer is the shape of the State of Vermont. To the bottom right of the deer is an image of a ruffed grouse bird standing on a small patch of grass. Surrounding the deer on the left, top, and right, is a stylized image of foliage. Below the fish, state, and bird images are three wedges. The banner at the bottom is curved and contains the words "Fish & Wildlife" in bold letters.
