The mark consists of the color green which appears in the depiction of the serpent, the color gold appears in the outer edges of the six-sided cross, in the words "GOLDEN HOUR" and in the slice of the circle that appears in the upper-right-hand portion of the background design, the color yellow appears in the center portion of the six-sided cross design, the color brown appears in the background circle design with the exception of the slice of the circle mentioned above and in the stick behind the serpent. The color black is used to shadow the lettering in the mark and to outline the six-sided cross design, and is also used for the basic background. The color white is used around the outer edges of the circle design along with a light-yellow fading into a darker yellow to give the image a corona-like effect.
