The mark consists of the words, "The Cheese School of San Francisco", in a tan font with a black shadow. The words appear inside a dark yellow oval, with a light yellow border just inside its rim. In the center of the oval, below the words, "Cheese School", and above the word, "of", is a three-quarter view of a circular block of cheese in light yellow. A section of the cheese is missing, which is dark yellow. On either side of the word, "The", at the top of the mark, and on either side of the block of cheese, are designs similar to the French fleur de lys in light yellow. Centered at the base of the oval, just below the words, "San Francisco", is a small filagree scroll in light yellow.
