The mark consists of two green concentric circles in seal type form with the words City of Luling colored green between the two circles around the top and the words Founded in 1874 colored green between the two circles around the bottom with a single green star between these two sets of words on each side between the two circles, and positioned in the interior of the innermost circle, a black oil pump, a black cow head, and two green watermelons one of which is sliced into two pieces showing a red interior with black seeds, the white appearing in the drawing represents background areas and is not part of the mark.
