The certification mark, as used by persons authorized by the??Certifier, is intended to certify that the beef goods provided 1)??have been raised by Ohio producers who ensure the cattle have??been verified as to source, are naturally corn-fed without use of??hormone implants, antibiotics, or animal by-products,??according to management standards of the Certifier, and 2)??have been determined by the USDA or a USDA approved??grader to have met the beef carcass quality characteristics set??forth in the Ohio Signature Beef Brand Program, as certified by??the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service Livestock and Seed??Program Meat Certification and Grading Branch.??
