"John Henry's"
The mark identifies an oxford-style boot which features full-grain brown leather, is fully leather lined, has brown stitching, has a lower heel, steel shank and includes an optional steel toe. Since 1918, West Coast Shoe Company (Wesco) has specialized in handcrafting footwear for occupational and recreational uses. Many of their occupational clients require footwear with safety features such as a steel toe since they either operate or are around heavy equipment. The John Henry's Classics were designed in 2002 and named after the founder of West Coast Shoe Co., "John Henry Shoemaker." The primary target market for John Henry's Classics are individuals who need an all-around shoe with sturdy boot like construction and safety features so they can wear them either on or off work.
