The color(s) comprising the continuum of colors in the gray scale beginning from white, to light gray to medium gray to dark gray to black are appear in the drawing as described below. The clarity of the drawing is not claimed as a portion of the mark. On the contrary, the era of the painting style emphasized soft and sometimes intentionally blended and blurred features without sharply defined lines. This Rembrandt painting style is difficult to reproduce as a line drawing, but is very noticeable and recognizable period in art history. The mark is an image taken from a small cropped portion from a Rembrandt style color painting converted to a gray tone drawing which comprises 3 gentleman examining a painting held in a frame. The original painting from which the image was taken was authored approximately 400 years ago in Europe. The cropped image clearly appears to be from Western tradition as opposed to Indian or Chinese art. The first gentleman is seated in a chair and is pointing at the picture with an extended right hand index finger while holding a cane supporting his left hand and arm. The first gentleman is not wearing a hat but appears to be dressed in soft luxurious velvet. His cuffs at the end of his sleeves are drawn in an almost white color. His ruffled collar of the period in which the painting was drawn is also white. The second gentleman is wearing a hat with a brim extending over his head and stands behind the first gentlemen. The second gentleman stands the tallest and has curly hair with a mustache above the lip. The second gentleman has a light gray vest. The background is a very dark gray. The third gentleman is wearing a hat with a brim extending over his head and stands behind the other gentlemen. The third gentleman in the rear stands in the background behind the first two gentlemen and views the painting at an acute angle. The third gentleman torso portion appears dark gray in contrast to his light gray collar and the medium gray of the top of his hat. His facial hair appears to be white. The painting that the three gentlemen look at has two dim figures both wearing hats. The frame appears thick and is ornamented by protruding relief leaf patterns extending from the frame inside into the frame outside. An easel supports the painting. In the bottom left corner fabric appearing as silk covers an unknown figure. The mark consists of three men dressed in European clothing typically worn during the 15th and 16th Century A.D. wherein the three two men are observing an ornately designed picture frame.
